Chris Pratt stars as Captain Ryan Cole, a hardened ex-marine leading a rescue team sent to retrieve a group of missing scientists. Among them is Dr. Elena Ruiz (Ana de Armas), a brilliant virologist who holds the key to reversing the mutation — and happens to be Cole’s former lover. But when the team arrives, they find the island overrun by feral creatures, and the jungle itself seems alive with horror.
