Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Selena Gomez Named Among Worst-Behaved Celebrities of 2025

Etiquette expert Laura Windsor has released her annual Bad Manners Awards 2025, calling out public figures whose behavior she believes showed a lack of tact and courtesy over the past year. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle topped the list, criticized for what Windsor described as an “entitled” attitude toward privacy at elite, high-profile events.
The Bad Manners Awards 2025—a tongue-in-cheek “hall of shame” curated by Laura Windsor—were published by the Daily Mail on December 22, drawing widespread attention across Europe and North America. According to Windsor, public figures should be judged not only by their achievements but also by their conduct, which requires grace, restraint, and respect in all circumstances.

Throughout 2025, several celebrities were said to have “crossed the line,” displaying behavior ranging from a lack of humility and excessive public sharing of private matters to outright disrespect toward others. Below are some of the most notable examples cited by Windsor.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
The former senior royals were criticized for attending a James Bond–themed 70th birthday party for Kris Jenner, held in November at the Beverly Hills mansion of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez. Following the event, Harry and Meghan reportedly requested that photos showing them alongside members of the Kardashian family be removed from social media.
Laura Windsor described the move as an expression of “privilege” and poor etiquette, arguing that it is unreasonable to accept an invitation, enjoy the hospitality, and then demand the deletion of shared images afterward. She characterized the behavior as both “arrogant and naïve,” saying such requests undermine basic social courtesy.
