“Die Hard” star Bruce Willis will make a donation to medicine upon his death.

The family of Die Hard star Bruce Willis has revealed plans to donate the actor’s brain to medical science following his death, as his health continues to decline due to frontotemporal dementia.
In a recent statement, Emma Heming Willis, Bruce Willis’s wife, said the family is fully aware of the progression of his illness and is emotionally prepared for all possible outcomes. She shared that they hope to donate his brain for scientific research when the time comes.

She explained:
“Neurological research relies heavily on brain tissue after death, especially in rare forms of dementia. This is not symbolic — it’s science. And one day, it could help other families.”

Sources close to the family report that Willis’s frontotemporal dementia has advanced significantly, severely affecting his ability to read, write, and interact with the world around him.
Glenn Gordon Caron, the creator of Moonlighting, disclosed that the actor is now “no longer able to speak” and must rely on alternative methods of communication.

Despite his condition, Bruce Willis remains surrounded by unwavering family support. Emma Heming and their two young daughters, along with his former wife Demi Moore and their three adult daughters, have all been caring for him since he stepped away from Hollywood in 2022.
