William and Kate Share Romantic Photo to Mark Valentine’s Day

The Prince and Princess of Wales, Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, shared a tender photo to celebrate Valentine’s Day, marking the second consecutive year they have publicly expressed their affection on social media.

On February 14, the couple posted a previously unseen black-and-white photograph on Instagram, captured last April at Anmer Hall. The image shows William and Kate sitting close together outdoors, smiling warmly, accompanied by a simple caption: “Happy Valentine’s Day” and a heart emoji.

The photo was taken during the same shoot used for the family’s 2025 Christmas card. A year earlier, the couple shared their first dedicated Valentine’s post, featuring a moment of William kissing Kate on the cheek as they sat on a blanket in the woods. That image was taken from a video Kate released in September 2024, in which she announced she had completed chemotherapy after revealing her cancer diagnosis in March of that year.

William has described 2024 as “probably the hardest year of my life,” as both his wife and his father, King Charles III, underwent cancer treatment. In January 2025, Kate shared that her condition had improved, while the King continues his treatment.
