Brooklyn Beckham quietly responds after Gordon Ramsay comments on family tensions

Brooklyn Beckham is said to have quietly unfollowed celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay on social media shortly after Ramsay publicly commented on the Beckham family’s internal conflict and Brooklyn’s marriage to Nicola Peltz.

According to Page Six, Brooklyn unfollowed Ramsay on Instagram following the TV star’s candid remarks about the Beckham family in an interview with The Sun. Ramsay, however, is still following Brooklyn. A source told the Daily Mail that Brooklyn and Nicola do not wish to hear any criticism about their relationship.

Ramsay, who has been a close friend of the Beckham family for many years, previously said in an interview published on February 14 that his relationship with Brooklyn remains positive. He claimed they still text each other and that he continues to have great affection for the young man.

In the interview, Ramsay described the rift between Brooklyn and his parents as a “difficult situation,” suggesting that people can become blind when deeply in love. He also remarked that Brooklyn, 26, appears eager to establish his independence.

The renowned chef advised the eldest son of David Beckham and Victoria Beckham to remember his roots and value his family, stressing that parents will not be around forever. Ramsay also defended Victoria, saying she has every reason to feel hurt by recent developments.

Family tensions reportedly intensified after Brooklyn accused his mother of behaving “inappropriately” toward him during his 2022 wedding to Peltz in Palm Beach. Ramsay, a long-time family friend and guest at the ceremony, denied the allegation, insisting everyone was simply dancing and enjoying the celebration. He also emphasized how deeply David Beckham loves his son.

Late last year, Brooklyn unfollowed several members of his family on social media. In January, he shared a lengthy Instagram post stating that he no longer wished to reconcile, denying claims that he was being controlled by his wife and accusing his parents of manipulating the media in ways that harmed his marriage.
