A 10-Year-Old Ariana Grande Song Makes a Surprise Comeback

This achievement marks a special milestone in Ariana Grande’s career.
Amid a packed schedule filled with major projects in 2026, Ariana Grande has received an unexpected piece of good news from the music charts: Into You, released back in 2016, has officially debuted on the Billboard Global 200 nearly a decade after its original release.

According to the latest update, Into You entered the chart at No. 197. The Global 200 ranks the most consumed songs worldwide, combining sales and streaming data. This marks the first time the hit has appeared on the chart, making it a notable milestone in Grande’s career.
With this debut, Ariana Grande now has 51 songs that have charted on the Billboard Global 200. Into You is also her first song to debut on the chart in 2026, following a busy 2025 during which she released the deluxe edition of her album Eternal Sunshine, titled Brighter Days Ahead. All six new tracks from the expanded version made it onto the Global 200, with Twilight Zone being the most successful, debuting at No. 7.

Despite the achievement, Into You has become the second-lowest debut of Grande’s career on the Global 200. Only Just Look Up—her collaboration with Kid Cudi for the 2021 film of the same name—entered lower, at No. 198.
This week, Grande also has three additional songs on the chart: two collaborations with The Weeknd—Save Your Tears and Die for You—along with We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love). These tracks are currently positioned at No. 51, No. 115, and No. 151, respectively.
Originally released in May 2016, Into You was the second single from Grande’s album Dangerous Woman. In the U.S., it peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100, narrowly missing the top 10. Other singles from the same era—Dangerous Woman and Side to Side (featuring Nicki Minaj)—reached No. 8 and No. 4, respectively. With Into You approaching its 10th anniversary, its sudden rise as a “global hit” has delighted many fans.
The song’s resurgence comes as Ariana Grande continues to dominate headlines. Although she was overlooked in the Oscar 2026 nominations for her role as Glinda in Wicked: For Good, she still has a chance to win two Grammy Awards in the coming days. She is also preparing to launch the Eternal Sunshine Tour this summer and will appear in the film Focker-In-Law, slated for release later in 2026.
On the U.S. album charts, both Eternal Sunshine and Thank U, Next remain on the Billboard 200, holding positions at No. 84 and No. 151, respectively.
Nearly a decade after its release, Into You has once again proven the enduring appeal of Ariana Grande’s music—making an unexpected return to the global charts and adding yet another highlight to her already remarkable career.
