Taylor Swift ‘Spends $1.2 Million Renovating Mansion Ahead of Wedding’

Taylor Swift is reportedly sparing no expense as she prepares for her upcoming wedding to fiancé Travis Kelce, transforming the grounds of her Rhode Island mansion into a sprawling floral garden.
According to The Sun, the couple plan to hold their wedding next year at Swift’s seaside estate, currently valued at around $32 million. A source claims the singer intends to spend approximately $1.2 million on landscaping and heightened security measures to ensure complete privacy during the preparations.

“Taylor wants the entire space overflowing with flowers,” the insider said. “There will be beds of white, purple, and pink orchids; blue, white, and pink hydrangeas; and pink, white, and red peonies. She wants the grounds covered in lush blooms to fulfill her childhood dream of getting married in a sea of flowers.”
The 20,000-square-meter property in Rhode Island was purchased by Swift more than a decade ago for $17.75 million. The three-story mansion features seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, expansive gardens, a private beach, and roughly 200 meters of coastline. Over the years, Swift has reportedly invested millions more in upgrades, bringing the estate’s current valuation to over $30 million.
Known as Holiday House, the home has hosted many of Swift’s gatherings with family and friends, including her famous Fourth of July parties and birthday celebrations. The mansion is also referenced in her song The Last Great American Dynasty** from the album Folklore**.

Sources say that after several months of engagement and completing promotional activities for her latest album, Swift has officially entered full wedding-planning mode. Earlier this month, she was seen spending time with close friends, reportedly to invite them to be bridesmaids. The rumored list includes supermodel Gigi Hadid and actress Selena Gomez.
Gomez, who married in September, is said to have shared her own wedding experiences with Swift, while both mothers and several close friends are also contributing ideas. “The atmosphere is very joyful—everyone is excited,” the source added.

The couple are reportedly planning a three-day wedding celebration, running from Friday through Sunday. “The goal is to create a once-in-a-lifetime memory—fun, meaningful, and allowing them to fully enjoy time with their closest loved ones.”
Kelce proposed to Swift last August in a rose-filled garden at his own home. Both are 35 years old and have been dating for two years.
