Brooklyn Beckham cuts ties with longtime friends amid family rift

Brooklyn Beckham has unfollowed childhood friends Holly Ramsay and Jack Ramsay, just days after their father, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, publicly urged him to “remember where you come from.”

The latest social-media move shows the 26-year-old has unfollowed Holly and her twin brother Jack. He is also said to have blocked Gordon Ramsay, a longtime friend of the Beckham family and godfather to Brooklyn’s younger sister Harper Beckham.

Brooklyn, however, continues to follow Gordon’s wife Tana Ramsay and their other children, Tilly Ramsay and Oscar Ramsay, prompting questions about how deep the fallout truly runs.

The Beckham and Ramsay families have been close since the early 2000s, when both relocated to the U.S. Brooklyn, Holly, and Jack—born within nine months of one another—grew up together and were frequently seen on luxury family vacations. A source said David Beckham and Victoria Beckham consider Gordon and Tana Ramsay like family. “The kids grew up together. Brooklyn was once very close to them, but his relationship with Jack is now almost nonexistent, which is really sad,” the source added.

The unfollowing comes as Brooklyn has publicly severed ties with his parents David and Victoria, as well as his siblings Romeo Beckham, Cruz Beckham, and Harper. In January, he posted a lengthy statement on Instagram accusing his family of media manipulation and interference in his marriage to actress Nicola Peltz, daughter of billionaire Nelson Peltz.

Gordon Ramsay recently commented that Brooklyn appears to be “blinded by love,” adding that he believes “one day he’ll understand.” Ramsay said he still maintains a good relationship with Brooklyn and praised David and Victoria as wonderful parents, offering a pointed message: “Remember where you come from. One day your parents won’t be there, and then you’ll understand.”

Brooklyn currently lives in the U.S. with his wife and has skipped several major family events, including his father’s 50th birthday and premieres of documentaries about his parents. His decision to distance himself from childhood friends further underscores the widening gap between him, his family, and his former inner circle.
