Miley Cyrus’s engagement ring has drawn attention for its bold, contemporary design and distinctive color palette, with an estimated value approaching half a million dollars.

The ring was custom-made by jewelry designer Jacquie Aiche, based on a concept created by Miley’s partner, Maxx Morando. Crafted in thick 14-karat gold, the piece features a cushion-cut diamond—rounded at the corners—set in a striking east-west orientation.

Daniela Tarantino, vice president of merchandising at diamond jewelry retailer Blue Nile, described it as a modern, wide-band gold engagement ring with an east-west bezel setting, a style currently trending in the bridal industry. She estimates the diamond at around 4–5 carats, valuing the ring between $300,000 and $450,000.

Jewelry appraiser Reyne Hirsch noted that while the ring’s design is minimalist, it feels distinctly modern, placing its value between $150,000 and $250,000 depending on the diamond’s color and clarity. Olivia Landau, founder and CEO of The Clear Cut, added that the large, bombe-style gold bezel gives the ring a bold, slightly rock-and-roll edge while still preserving the essence of a classic engagement ring.

Miley Cyrus sparked engagement rumors when she wore the eye-catching ring on the red carpet at the premiere of Avatar: Fire and Ash on December 1. While posing for photos with Morando, the 33-year-old singer subtly showcased the ring on her left ring finger. Hours later, Morando’s father, Dan Morando, posted a congratulatory message for the couple, effectively confirming the news. A representative for Jacquie Aiche also confirmed that Maxx had commissioned the ring for his proposal to Miley.

In an interview with People on December 2, Miley addressed the engagement rumors, saying she wished to keep the matter private. Connecting the moment to the themes of Avatar, she explained that the film explores love, family healing, and the idea that people are stronger together. “That’s why it feels so fitting—both for the spirit of the film and for where I am in my life right now,” said the singer, who performs the movie’s theme song.

Miley Cyrus has been dating Maxx Morando since 2021. Six years younger than her, Morando is a drummer who previously played with indie rock bands The Regrettes and LILI. Miley has shared that despite their age gap and generational differences between Gen Y and Gen Z, the two connect deeply on an emotional level and share a strong passion for music.
