MOSCOW, Idaho — The brutal crime scene tied to Bryan Kohberger may point to a dark “psychosexual” motive behind the killings, according to a criminal behavior expert reviewing details made public in court filings.

Kohberger, a former criminology graduate student, is charged in connection with the 2022 stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students in an off-campus residence near the campus in Moscow. Prosecutors have alleged the attack was deliberate and targeted, though a clear motive has not been formally established in court.

Expert Analysis of the Scene

Based on publicly released affidavits and investigative documents, the crime scene was described as exceptionally violent, with multiple victims attacked in close quarters during the early morning hours.
