Pres. demands Iran’s ‘unconditional surrender’ as U.S., Israel escalate attacks

President Donald Trump has firmly stated that there will be no negotiations with Iran short of its ‘unconditional surrender.’ In a social media post, he emphasized that following surrender and the selection of new leadership, the US and allies would help rebuild Iran into a stronger economy. This hardline stance comes as US and Israeli forces continue intensified airstrikes across Iranian targets and related areas like Beirut.

On the seventh day of heightened conflict, Iran has launched retaliatory missile and drone attacks on Israel, Gulf states, and US assets. Israeli warplanes have pounded targets in Tehran and other locations, while the situation risks further regional destabilization involving Lebanon and beyond. Trump has ruled out talks until Iran fully submits.

The escalation includes strikes that have reportedly hit key infrastructure, with both sides claiming strategic gains. The President’s demands reflect a strategy aimed at regime change or significant policy shifts in Tehran, amid concerns over oil supply disruptions and broader Middle East stability.
