⚠️ Kurdish Leader Warns War Is Escalating and Humanitarian Crisis May Follow

In a recent interview, Baffel Talabani, president of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), warned that the ongoing regional conflict appears to be escalating rather than slowing down. He said the situation across the Middle East remains highly unstable as military operations continue and tensions spread to new areas.

Talabani also stated that regime change in Iran does not appear imminent, noting that the country’s political system and internal power structures remain resilient despite ongoing military pressure. He emphasized that there is no confirmed Kurdish cross-border operation from Iraq into Iran, amid reports that Kurdish forces could become involved in the conflict.

Most concerning, Talabani warned that the greatest danger may ultimately be a humanitarian crisis if the war continues to expand. Prolonged fighting could lead to mass displacement, economic disruption, and growing pressure on civilian populations across the region.
