For most of her life, a dog named Freyja had never seen the outside world. 💔
She was born inside a cramped New York City apartment where more than 40 dogs were kept in a heartbreaking hoarding situation. The crowded space was all Freyja had ever known. There were no walks, no fresh air, no wide open spaces — only the overwhelming noise and chaos of too many animals living in a place far too small.
Because of that, when Freyja was finally rescued and placed into foster care, even the simplest parts of everyday life felt completely unfamiliar. Everything was new.

She rode on trains, observing the busy world around her. And she began exploring wide open spaces, where she could finally move freely without fear. With every new experience, Freyja’s confidence grew.
