Primatologist Davis Okoye (Dwayne Johnson) has been working to rebuild wildlife sanctuaries and protect endangered species after the chaos that nearly destroyed Chicago. His closest companion, the intelligent albino gorilla George, has become a symbol of hope—a reminder that not all mutations lead to destruction.

But peace doesn’t last long.

A powerful biotech corporation secretly develops a new generation of experimental genetic technology—far more advanced and far more dangerous than the original pathogen. Their goal isn’t just to study mutation. They want to control evolution itself.

When a classified facility suffers a catastrophic breach, the experimental genome spreads across multiple species at once. Within days, terrifying new creatures emerge—massive predators with unpredictable abilities and rapidly evolving biology.
