WALKING TALL

WALKING TALL (2026) Alan Ritchson, Florence Pugh
In WALKING TALL (2026), decorated Special Forces veteran Chris Vaughn (Alan Ritchson) returns to his quiet rural hometown hoping to leave war behind and rebuild a simple life. Instead, he finds the town he once loved buried under corruption, intimidation, and a powerful criminal network that operates openly while the law looks the other way.
The community has changed. Local businesses are controlled by a sophisticated crime syndicate dealing in illegal tech, drugs, and digital blackmail. The town government has been quietly bought, and anyone who speaks up quickly learns the price of defiance.
When Vaughn’s childhood friend is falsely accused of a violent crime and thrown into jail as a warning to others, the former soldier realizes the system meant to protect the town is now part of the problem.

Standing in the middle of this broken system is Sheriff Ellie Harper (Florence Pugh). She’s tough, intelligent, and deeply conflicted—caught between enforcing the law and surviving in a town where powerful people control everything. Vaughn quickly realizes she might be the only honest person left in authority… but he isn’t sure if she will stand with him or stop him.
Refusing to back down, Vaughn takes matters into his own hands. Armed with nothing but his combat training, unbreakable moral code, and a massive cedar post he wields like a symbol of justice, he begins dismantling the criminal empire piece by piece.

What starts as a personal fight quickly becomes a full-scale war for the soul of the town. Warehouses burn, corrupt officials are exposed, and the crime syndicate begins to realize they’ve awakened the wrong enemy.
As the conflict escalates, Vaughn and Sheriff Harper are forced into an uneasy alliance. Together they uncover a conspiracy that reaches far beyond the town—into corporate power, political influence, and a system designed to keep ordinary people powerless.
The closer Vaughn gets to the truth, the more dangerous the fight becomes. But unlike the criminals he’s hunting, he has nothing left to lose.
