Powerful airstrikes hit Beirut’s southern suburbs, as Israel intensified operations against militant groups operating from Lebanon. According to reports, the strike killed a senior commander of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad operating in Lebanon, a group allied with Hezbollah and Iran.
