US-Iran War: UAE Intercepts Iranian Drones And Missiles As Explosions Rock Cities

UAE air defense units have impressively repelled a wave of Iranian ballistic missiles and drones, with loud explosions resounding through cities from the successful interceptions; out of nine missiles launched, eight were taken down mid-air, and the ninth harmlessly plunged into the ocean, averting major disasters.

From a total of 35 incoming drones, 26 were shot down, but nine managed to reach UAE soil, keeping the threat level elevated as fighter jets were deployed to hunt down and eliminate lingering intruders. This ongoing barrage has forced military personnel to stay on constant alert, testing the limits of the nation’s advanced radar and missile systems.

The repeated escalations are putting severe pressure on regional balance, draining defensive resources and exposing the vulnerabilities in prolonged conflicts, while underscoring the importance of strengthening partnerships to counter such persistent aggressions effectively.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has positioned these actions as steps toward enabling regime change in Iran, while the bombardment has forced the displacement of over 700,000 people in Lebanon, overwhelming aid organizations and border crossings. President Trump’s strong warnings against any attempts to block the strait are backed by reinforced allied forces, as coalitions work to secure the area against further Iranian maneuvers.
