Rescuing Kittens from the Tsunami’s Path

The warning came quickly, and with it, panic.
Sirens echoed through the streets as people rushed to evacuate. The ocean, once calm, had begun to pull back in a way that felt unnatural—like it was preparing for something terrible. A tsunami was coming.
Amid the chaos, most people were focused on saving themselves and their families. But someone noticed something others didn’t.
A small box… moving slightly.
Inside were kittens.
They were tiny—too young to understand danger, too weak to escape on their own. Left behind near the shoreline, they had no chance against the massive wave that was on its way.
There was no time to think.
The rescuer ran toward them, heart pounding. Every second mattered. The air felt heavy with urgency, and the distant roar of the ocean was growing louder.
Kneeling down, they quickly gathered the kittens into their arms. The little creatures meowed softly, confused and frightened, clinging to the only warmth they could find.
