A Little Life, Safe Beneath Big Wings

In a quiet corner of nature, where the world moves gently and unnoticed, a small and fragile life found the safest place it could ever be—beneath a pair of big, protective wings.
The chick was tiny, barely strong enough to stand on its own. The world around it was vast and unfamiliar, filled with sounds and movements it did not yet understand. Every shadow felt like danger, every breeze like a challenge.
But it was not alone.
Above it stood its mother, calm and watchful. With soft feathers and steady presence, she created a shelter no storm could easily break. At the slightest hint of danger, her wings would open wide, wrapping around the little one like a warm, living blanket.
Under those wings, everything changed.
The noise of the outside world faded. The wind felt softer. Fear slowly disappeared, replaced by a quiet sense of safety. The chick nestled closer, listening to the gentle rhythm of its mother’s heartbeat—a sound that meant comfort, protection, and love.
Time passed, and the little one began to grow stronger. It started to peek out from under the wings, curious about the world it once feared. Step by step, it learned to explore, always knowing it could return to that safe place whenever it needed.
The mother never strayed far.
Her wings were always ready—ready to protect, to comfort, and to guide. She didn’t stop the world from being dangerous, but she made sure her little one was never alone in facing it
