– In a stunning and unprecedented development, Iran claims it has shot down an Israeli F-35 stealth fighter jet and captured the pilot alive following an intense aerial dogfight over Iranian airspace. According to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Iranian air defense systems detected and engaged the advanced stealth aircraft during what they called a “hostile penetration mission.” After a fierce dogfight involving Iranian fighter jets, the F-35 was reportedly hit and forced to eject.
