Venom 4 (2027)

Starring: Tom Hardy • Andy Serkis • Naomi Harris • Riz Ahmed

“Sometimes, the darkest parts of us are the only thing that can save the world.”

Story:
In Venom 4 (2027), the symbiotic duo of Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) and Venom face their most personal and dangerous enemy yet—one who threatens not only their survival but the entire world.

Following the chaotic events of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Eddie and Venom have settled into a somewhat uneasy but functional partnership. They continue to fight for justice in their own twisted way, balancing Eddie’s journalistic instincts with Venom’s thirst for chaos. But when an ancient and destructive force emerges from the shadows, the duo finds themselves up against a threat unlike any they’ve faced before.

The Rise of Nyx (Naomi Harris): A mysterious figure, once thought to be a forgotten god-like entity, is resurrected from the depths of the cosmos. Nyx, a cosmic being of darkness and destruction, has an ancient connection to the symbiotes, and her return threatens to unravel everything. As she gathers an army of symbiote-driven followers, Nyx aims to reshape the universe in her own image, starting with Earth.

What makes Nyx particularly dangerous is her ability to control not just symbiotes but manipulate entire minds, feeding off of their fears and insecurities. This psychological warfare could tear Eddie and Venom apart, as Nyx learns to exploit their bond. With Eddie’s humanity at risk and Venom’s wild instincts clashing with Eddie’s dwindling control, they are forced to confront the deepest fears of their partnership—and possibly even break apart to save the world.

The Conflict:
Eddie and Venom’s partnership is stretched to its breaking point as Nyx begins to infiltrate their thoughts, exploiting their differences and weaknesses. Venom’s chaotic nature leads him to want to fight fire with fire, but Eddie, struggling with the constant internal battle of control, wonders if he’s losing himself in the process. This tension creates a rift between the two, complicating their fight against Nyx’s forces.

Meanwhile, Cletus Kasady/Carnage (Riz Ahmed) makes a return, but in a twisted new form. Nyx’s influence has infected him, turning him into a more powerful and unpredictable version of Carnage, pushing the limits of what a symbiote can do. The once fearsome villain is now an unpredictable wild card, either a devastating ally or an uncontrollable foe in this cataclysmic battle.

New Allies:

Dr. Claire Temple (Naomi Harris): A scientist with a personal connection to the symbiotes, Dr. Temple becomes an unlikely ally for Eddie and Venom. After the catastrophic events caused by the symbiotes, she is forced to use her skills and knowledge to help Eddie understand what Nyx truly wants and how to stop her. But as the battle rages on, Dr. Temple’s moral compass is tested, as she grapples with what’s best for the world—and for herself.

  • The Symbiote War: The movie takes a cosmic turn as we explore the origins of the symbiotes and their connection to Nyx. The symbiote species, originally created by an alien race, begins to clash with the forces Nyx controls, leading to a brutal war for control of Earth—and the universe. Eddie and Venom will have to confront not only their enemies but their origins and place in this cosmic battle.

Character Arcs:

  • Eddie Brock / Venom (Tom Hardy): Eddie’s internal conflict becomes the focal point of the film. He is no longer just trying to live with the symbiote—he’s questioning whether he can still be human while bonded to something as uncontrollable as Venom. This film is about Eddie learning to either fully accept the darkness within him or risk losing everything, including his own soul.
  • Venom (voiced by Tom Hardy): Venom’s chaotic and often comedic nature is put to the test as he struggles to balance his violent urges with the growing understanding that the world is bigger than just their survival. His relationship with Eddie evolves as they both learn to coexist or face destruction.
  • Cletus Kasady / Carnage (Riz Ahmed): After being re-empowered by Nyx, Cletus’s unpredictability takes center stage. His chaotic nature becomes even more dangerous as he is drawn into the cosmic battle between Nyx and the symbiotes. The question is: will he be a mere pawn in Nyx’s game, or will he carve his own path of destruction?

Review:
Venom 4 (2027) takes the Venom franchise to a new level, blending the brutal, violent action with a deeper exploration of the symbiote’s complex relationship with Eddie Brock. The film explores psychological warfare and cosmic scale threats in a way that feels fresh and new, yet true to the core of what made Venom such a unique antihero in the first place.

Tom Hardy’s portrayal of Eddie Brock continues to impress, with a more layered performance that dives into Eddie’s struggle between humanity and the chaos of the Venom symbiote. The addition of Naomi Harris adds a sharp intellectual edge to the film, and her character, Dr. Claire Temple, adds depth to the human side of the story.

The film’s villain, Nyx, is a formidable new force in the Venom universe—her ability to control minds and manipulate reality presents a more cerebral challenge for Eddie and Venom, pushing them to their limits. The dynamic between Eddie and Venom evolves, as the two must face not only physical battles but emotional and psychological ones as well.

With incredible action sequences, some of the most intense battles in the Venom series, and a compelling cosmic threat, Venom 4 is a thrilling, emotional ride that expands the Venom universe into new, darker territories.

A must-see for fans of antiheroes, symbiote battles, and mind-bending action!
