The Angry Birds Movie 3 (2027)

Starring: Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Maya Rudolph, and new characters

Concept:
The Angry Birds Movie 3 takes the fun, colorful franchise to new heights, combining classic bird-versus-pig antics with a fresh, heartwarming adventure. This time, the Angry Birds must face an even greater threat than the pigs—an entire new world of mysterious creatures and challenges. With familiar faces and new friends, the birds are about to go on their most daring and exciting journey yet, one that challenges their friendships, their homes, and their very beliefs about what it means to protect what they love.

Plot:
After the events of The Angry Birds Movie 2, where the birds and pigs temporarily formed an alliance to combat the danger posed by Zeta and her icy island, life on Bird Island has returned to a peaceful, albeit still chaotic, normal. Red (voiced by Jason Sudeikis), Chuck (voiced by Josh Gad), and Bomb (voiced by Danny McBride) are settling into their roles as the island’s main protectors. However, peace is short-lived when a mysterious new island—hidden in the farthest reaches of the Angry Birds’ world—is discovered. The island, full of strange, unfamiliar creatures, begins to emit a strange signal that disrupts the lives of the birds and pigs alike.

The birds soon realize that this new island is not just a threat to their peaceful existence; it’s part of a larger plan to overthrow the balance of their world. A new group of adversaries, called the “Stonebeaks,” a bird species with mysterious powers and motives, emerge from the shadows. Led by the charismatic and powerful Aviora (a new character), the Stonebeaks aim to take over the Angry Birds’ home and establish their own kingdom.

Realizing that they must unite once again to protect their families and their homes, Red, Chuck, and Bomb—along with the pigs, who have now become reluctant allies—embark on an adventure to discover the secrets of the Stonebeaks and stop their evil plot. Along the way, they meet new characters, including a wise old bird (voiced by Maya Rudolph) who reveals ancient secrets about their world’s history and its connection to the mysterious new island.

Key Characters:

  • Red (Jason Sudeikis): The impulsive yet lovable leader of the birds. His protective nature comes into play once again as he’s thrust into a mission to save Bird Island and its inhabitants. His bond with Chuck and Bomb is tested as they uncover deeper truths about their world.
  • Chuck (Josh Gad): The fast-talking, hyperactive bird known for his speed and comedic antics. Chuck’s energy and optimism provide much-needed humor and light in the face of impending doom. But this time, he must learn the value of teamwork and trust when things get serious.
  • Bomb (Danny McBride): The explosive and often misunderstood member of the trio. Bomb’s temper and ability to literally blow things up become crucial assets, but he also faces the challenge of learning how to control his power when dealing with the Stonebeaks’ mysterious abilities.
  • Aviora (new villain): The fierce leader of the Stonebeaks, Aviora is a bird with unmatched intelligence and destructive power. Her agenda threatens to destabilize everything the Angry Birds and the pigs have worked for. Her calm exterior hides a deep-rooted vendetta against the current world order.
  • The Pigs: Leonard, the green pig king (voiced by Bill Hader), and his loyal companions, including the ever-scheming King Mudbeard and the bumbling but lovable Minion Pigs, are back. After the events of the last film, the pigs are reluctantly working alongside the birds to stop the greater threat. Their loyalty is tested, and new alliances form under extreme pressure.
  • New Allies: Maya Rudolph voices an eccentric, ancient bird sage who has deep knowledge of the hidden world of the Stonebeaks and the mysterious island. She helps guide Red and his team on their perilous journey.

Themes & Tone:
The Angry Birds Movie 3 focuses on themes of unity, family, and self-discovery. As the characters face not only external threats but also internal doubts and conflicts, they learn what it truly means to work together, despite their differences. The movie continues its signature blend of humor, action, and heart, with slapstick comedy and high-energy sequences balanced by emotional moments of self-reflection and growth.

This installment also explores themes of legacy and the consequences of imbalance—what happens when the natural order of things is disrupted by external forces, and how different species cope with change and leadership.

Visuals & Action Sequences:
As always, the visuals will be vibrant and playful, with dynamic environments that bring the world of the Angry Birds to life. The mysterious new island is a visual feast, full of strange creatures, floating islands, and elaborate traps set by the Stonebeaks. Expect larger-than-life action sequences, including daring aerial chases, booby-trapped jungles, and, of course, plenty of explosions. The action will be fast-paced and fun, appealing to both kids and adults alike.

Will the birds and pigs succeed in overcoming the Stonebeaks and restoring peace to their world? Or will the mysterious forces of the new island threaten to change everything forever?

The Angry Birds Movie 3 (2027) promises to be a heartwarming, action-packed adventure with plenty of laughs and surprises, continuing the legacy of one of the most beloved animated franchises in modern cinema.
