Kim Jong Un declared before parliament that his country’s nuclear status is “irreversible,” accused the U.S. of “state terrorism” over the Iran war, and warned that any threat against North Korea would be met “mercilessly.”

His exact words: “The present situation clearly proves our decision to keep the nuclear arsenal was justified. Nuclear weapons are the only means capable of ending the imperialist ambition for aggression.” He then oversaw a cruise missile test from a newly commissioned destroyer.
