Matt Brown, 42, known for his appearances on the Discovery Channel series Alaskan Bush People, has been found deceased in the Okanogan River in Washington state.

His body was recovered on Saturday by a private search team after several days of searching. The discovery was confirmed by his family members, including brothers Noah and Bear Brown.

While some family statements have suggested the death appears to be a suicide, the Okanogan County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the official cause and manner of death, which remains under investigation.

Matt’s family and fans are mourning the loss of the reality star, who had been open in the past about his personal struggles.
