Six Men Accused of Kidnapping, Torturing Two Victims at Florida Resort and Boat Ramp

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — Six young men have been charged with kidnapping and conspiracy to commit kidnapping after allegedly abducting two people at gunpoint from the Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort, then torturing and robbing them at a remote boat ramp in Broward County.
The incident began on the night of May 29, according to court documents. One of the suspects allegedly pressured the victims to leave the resort and attend a car show in a more isolated area. Once in the parking garage, the two victims were forced into separate vehicles at gunpoint by several armed individuals wearing masks and gloves.
The suspects — identified as Saul Alfonso Fajardo, 19; Justin Phihoang Le, 20; Amari Tamire Hill, 21; Anthony Teruel Hernandez, 18; Marikevies McNichols Jr., 19; and Weilen Hernandez, 20 — were all allegedly armed with semiautomatic weapons.
One victim was slammed onto a car and shoved into the passenger seat. Court records state that Phihoang Le threatened him, saying, “If you try to get out, I’m going to end your life,” and “I am going to kill you and your family.” The suspects allegedly demanded money and forced the victim to call friends and family in an attempt to obtain cash, threatening to pull out his fingernails with pliers if he didn’t comply.
Both victims were taken to the West Broward Boat Ramp, referred to by the suspects as “the spot.” There, they were forced to kneel at gunpoint, robbed of their phones, jewelry, clothing, and other belongings, and subjected to further threats. One victim was allegedly told his tattoo would be burned off, while another was warned, “Don’t cry. I will kill your family if you go to the police.”
The victims were forced to strip down to their underwear. One suspect reportedly fired a shot into the air during a video call to show they were serious. After becoming concerned that one victim’s ankle monitor might alert authorities, the group allegedly released him in a nearby subdivision. The second victim reportedly faked a seizure to escape after the suspects began burning evidence.
Authorities recovered burned clothing and other stolen items at the boat ramp. The victims eventually reached safety and reported the ordeal.
The six men face serious federal charges. Investigators are continuing to look into the full scope of the case, including the role of an unidentified female suspect mentioned in messages.
This disturbing incident has drawn significant attention due to the brazen nature of the alleged crimes at a popular vacation resort.
