Search for Missing 15-Year-Old Jaderrius Minnieweather Enters Critical Phase as New Locations Identified

BATON ROUGE, La. — The search for 15-year-old Jaderrius Minnieweather has entered a critical new phase, with authorities and volunteers focusing on additional potential locations in the Baton Rouge area after more than a week without any sign of the missing teen.

Jaderrius was last seen in the “Ghost Town” area of Baton Rouge. He is described as 4’7″ tall and weighing approximately 98 pounds. He has dark hair and was last seen wearing a red shirt and khaki pants.

Community members, including family and friends, have been actively searching the area, with emotional scenes of volunteers combing through neighborhoods and wooded spots in hopes of finding him safe.

The Baton Rouge Police Department is urging anyone with information to contact them immediately at 225-389-2000. Jaderrius may still be in or around the Baton Rouge area.
