California City, California – The California Highway Patrol has issued an Amber Alert for a 3-year-old girl who is believed to be in imminent danger. Emaria Peel was last seen on Friday around 7:17 p.m. in the area of Redwood Boulevard and 83rd Street in California City.

Authorities believe 31-year-old Charnay Mclin took the child. Investigators have not yet disclosed the exact relationship between Mclin and Emaria. The pair are believed to be traveling in a gold-colored 2021 Kia Sorento with California license plate 36095DV.

Photos released as part of the alert show Emaria as a young child wearing a blue bonnet and a pink one. A photo of the suspected vehicle, a gold SUV, has also been circulated to aid in the search.

Anyone who sees the vehicle or has information about Emaria’s whereabouts is urged to contact law enforcement immediately. Do not approach if you spot them — call 911 or the California Highway Patrol right away.
