She was just 4 years old… and weighed only 23 pounds when she died. nt

Twenty-three pounds.
Nahla Miller should’ve been playing with baby dolls, watching cartoons, and learning her ABCs.
Instead, prosecutors say she was locked in a freezing basement without food or water because she wasn’t fully potty trained.
Punished… for being a child.

Investigators say Nahla suffered broken bones, internal bleeding, injuries to her lungs and liver, signs of prolonged starvation, and strangulation injuries. She fought for her life for 9 days before she passed away.
What makes this even more heartbreaking is that Nahla’s father and grandmother reportedly saw the warning signs and fought to get her out of that home. They tried to save her.
But it was too late.

Her mother, Tianna Robinson, was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 30 years.
Nahla never even got the chance to celebrate her 5th birthday.
