The Woman Who Made Me Who I Am 

The world saw a diagnosis. I saw my greatest inspiration.

My mother has Down syndrome, but to me, she has always been so much more than a label. She filled my life with unconditional love, endless encouragement, and the belief that I could achieve anything I dreamed of.

Every challenge I faced was met with her unwavering support. She taught me that true strength is found in kindness, resilience, patience, and compassion. Those lessons shaped not only the person I became, but also the doctor I am today.

People often ask how I made it this far. The answer has always been simple: I had a mother who never stopped believing in me.

I didn’t succeed despite my mom. I succeeded because of the love, courage, and determination she showed me every single day.
