SUBPOENAS ISSUED: Nolan Wells’ Family Seeks Data From Major Social Media Platforms

The legal team representing the family of Nolan Wells has taken a new step in the ongoing investigation by requesting records from several major technology companies, including Snapchat, WhatsApp, TikTok, Meta Platforms, and Life360.

According to court filings, the subpoenas seek account history, login IP addresses, messages, location data, and other records that could help investigators better understand Nolan’s activities before his disappearance. The requests are part of the family’s effort to determine whether any potentially relevant digital evidence may have been altered, deleted, or preserved.

Nolan’s mother, Christine Wonsley, has said she found his Snapchat accounts empty after his phone was returned, describing the discovery as suspicious and calling for a thorough review of the available digital evidence.

The subpoenas, filed by attorney Gary Bufkin alongside attorney Ben Crump, do not establish that any evidence was intentionally deleted or that any individual engaged in wrongdoing. Rather, they are a legal tool to obtain records that may help clarify the circumstances surrounding Nolan’s final hours.

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities have not announced criminal charges related to the case. The Wells family continues to seek answers through both the legal process and the official investigation.
