Madison spent the summer counting down to a Benson Boone concert. But just days before the show, she was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
Instead of attending the concert, Madison began treatment, including surgery, a bone marrow biopsy, a spinal tap, and chemotherapy.
Her family received one encouraging sign: doctors found no leukemia in her spinal fluid.
Through it all, Madison says she knows she is brave, loved, and stronger than she realizes.
Doctors diagnosed her with B-ALL leukemia. Within days, she underwent procedures, started chemotherapy and bravely shaved her hair as treatment began.
One encouraging test result has given her family hope — and Madison is determined to keep fighting.
She talked about the concert constantly.
It was supposed to be the biggest night of her summer.
Instead…
She was diagnosed with leukemia.
Just days before the concert, Madison learned she has B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL).
Instead of singing with thousands of fans, she found herself in a hospital bed.
Instead of getting ready for the show, she began chemotherapy and bravely shaved her hair off.
She’s since underwent surgery to have her port placed, a bone marrow biopsy, a spinal tap, and her very first chemotherapy treatment.
Her family celebrated one incredible piece of news that day.
Doctors found no leukemia in her spinal fluid.
It’s been a whirlwind few days for this young girl. She started a FB page called Watch Madison Win.
