When baby Oliver was born with a congenital cleft palate, his first days of life brought challenges his family had never expected. 

Because the roof of his mouth had not fully developed, Oliver had some difficulty with feeding and needed additional medical support. He spent extra time in the hospital while doctors carefully monitored his breathing and helped make sure he was receiving the nutrition he needed. 

For little Oliver, something as simple as feeding required extra patience and care. But with the support of his family and medical team, he continued taking things one little step at a time.
