Now, in a small cemetery in Ralph, Alabama, Brittney Roberts’ two children are side by side.

I’ve continued checking in on Brittney since bone cancer took her teenage son Will after an inspiring 18 month fight in July.
So many of you followed his battle with me. You prayed for him. You watched his final journey home. Tens of thousands of you helped his family say goodbye.
Earlier this week, I shared Brittney’s heartbreaking trip to Will’s grave on what should have been his first day of high school.
Today, she returned for something I can’t imagine any mother ever expecting to do.
Thirteen years ago, Brittney buried her baby girl, Darby Kate.
After losing Will, the family made the decision to move Darby Kate to the cemetery where her big brother was laid to rest.
