Two-month-old Baby Kove of Colquitt is receiving specialized medical care after an unexpected health emergency.

Born prematurely at 33 weeks, Kove has faced medical challenges since birth. According to his family, he was recently transported by ambulance to a children’s hospital several hours from home for further evaluation.

Doctors have identified fluid on his brain and are continuing tests to better understand its cause. According to his family, his medical team is also monitoring a low heart rate while determining the most appropriate course of treatment.

Kove’s parents, Destani and Josh, remain by his side throughout his care, supported by family and loved ones as they await further answers from his doctors.

His family continues to take each day one step at a time while hoping for encouraging news in the days ahead.
