Three-year-old Jade LaRee Group of Estill Springs, Tennessee, is facing an incredibly difficult journey after being diagnosed with embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma.

According to her family, doctors later determined that the cancer had spread to the lining of her brain, a condition known as leptomeningeal disease. Jade required emergency surgery to relieve pressure on her brain, and her parents were told that her illness is considered terminal.

Her mother shared that the diagnosis was one of the most difficult moments their family has ever faced. Throughout Jade’s treatment, they have continued to rely on their faith, the support of loved ones, and the care provided by her medical team.

Despite the seriousness of her condition, Jade has made encouraging progress since her surgery. According to her family, she gradually regained the ability to talk, smile, eat, and walk again after a period when doctors were uncertain how much function she would recover.

Today, Jade continues receiving care while her family remains hopeful about an experimental targeted therapy that may provide additional treatment options.

Her mother says they continue to take each day as it comes, holding onto hope while trusting God’s plan and appreciating every moment they have together.
