“Please Pray for My Baby”: 8-Year-Old Girl Battles Stage 4 Brain Cancer as Her Mother Stays by Her Side

An 8-year-old little girl is now receiving hospice care after being diagnosed with Stage 4 diffuse midline glioma (DMG), a devastating form of brain cancer.

Her journey began with persistent headaches on January 1, when she was just 7 years old. Doctors soon discovered a brain tumor, and she underwent brain surgery just one day before her 8th birthday.

Her family traveled to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, where she endured radiation and months of treatment. On April 1, she rang the treatment bell, giving her family a moment of hope. In May, doctors reported that the tumor was shrinking.

But in July, her condition suddenly worsened. Further scans revealed that the cancer had spread.

Her mother, Sabrena, has stopped working so she can remain constantly by her daughter’s side. “This pain is unbearable,” she shared.

Please pray for this precious child—for comfort, strength, peace, and freedom from pain. Pray for Sabrena as she faces the unimaginable, and surround this family with love and support during this most difficult chapter.
