NOAH WOODS: BODY FOUND AFTER DESPERATE SEARCH FOR MISSING THREE-YEAR-OLD

A devastating development has brought the search for three-year-old Noah Woods to a tragic end.

Noah went missing from a playground in Merriam Close, Brantham, Suffolk, on Tuesday, September 15, after becoming separated from a relative.

CCTV showed him leaving the playground and heading down an alleyway toward the surrounding area and Decoy Pond.

A major search operation was launched, involving police, specialist teams, emergency services, and members of the public.

Around 1,300 volunteers joined the effort, with people travelling from outside the area to help search for the little boy.

On Wednesday, September 16, specialist police divers recovered the body of a child from Decoy Pond.

Suffolk Constabulary later confirmed that the body had been formally identified as Noah Woods.

His family were informed before the identification was publicly confirmed.

Police said Noah’s death is not being treated as suspicious, although several enquiries remain ongoing.

The search had brought together an extraordinary response from the local community and people from across the country.

Volunteers searched woodland, fields, paths, and surrounding areas as hopes remained that Noah would be found safe.

The news of his death has left the village of Brantham deeply shaken.

Noah’s father, Rhys Woods, described his son as “the sweetest and most innocent little boy.”

He also thanked the thousands of people who searched for Noah and supported his family.

Tributes have since appeared around the playground where Noah was last seen.

Flowers, candles, toys, and Bluey-themed tributes have been left in his memory.

Police have asked the public to respect the family’s privacy as they face an unimaginable loss.
