BREAKING: CHRISTA PIKE IS STILL ALIVE AFTER TENNESSEE ATTEMPTED TO EXECUTE HER BY LETHAL INJECTION

BREAKING: CHRISTA PIKE IS STILL ALIVE AFTER TENNESSEE ATTEMPTED TO EXECUTE HER BY LETHAL INJECTION, AND WITNESSES SAY THE STATE WAS UNABLE TO COMPLETE THE EXECUTION!
Y’all, this Christa Pike case has taken another absolutely stunning turn.
After an entire day of court battles, a last minute stay and then the U.S. Supreme Court clearing Tennessee to proceed, officials attempted to carry out Pike’s execution Wednesday night.
But Pike did NOT die.
According to reporting from TMZ citing Pike’s attorneys, witnesses said both syringes containing the lethal injection chemicals had been administered.
But Pike reportedly remained alive.
Her attorneys said that at approximately 8:26 p.m., Pike had not lost consciousness, still had a heartbeat and could be heard snoring.
The curtains to the execution chamber reportedly went down twice during the process.
Media witnesses were eventually removed from the viewing area while Pike was still alive.
THE EXECUTION WAS NOT COMPLETED.
And because Tennessee’s execution warrant was set to expire at midnight, the state was unable to simply continue indefinitely.
This means Christa Pike remains alive after Tennessee attempted to carry out her death sentence.
Think about how unbelievable this day has been.
Pike was originally scheduled to be executed Wednesday morning.
About an hour before that execution, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals issued a temporary stay so judges could consider another legal challenge from her attorneys.
Tennessee immediately went to the U.S. Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court then overturned that stay Wednesday evening and cleared the state to proceed.
Tennessee officials moved forward with the execution.
And after ALL OF THAT, the execution still could not be completed.
Pike was sentenced to death for the brutal 1995 murder of 19 year old Colleen Slemmer.
Pike was 18 years old at the time and has never denied responsibility for Colleen’s death.
Her attorneys have spent years arguing that her severe childhood abuse, trauma, mental health history and young age at the time of the crime should have resulted in life in prison rather than execution.
Colleen’s mother has strongly supported carrying out the death sentence and has waited more than 30 years for it to happen.
And now both families are facing even more uncertainty.
SO WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
That is the massive question tonight.
Because Pike survived Wednesday night’s attempted execution, Tennessee could potentially have to go through another legal process before attempting to execute her again.
And you can almost guarantee Pike’s attorneys will raise serious constitutional questions about what happened inside that execution chamber tonight.
This story is NOT over.
Not even close.
After more than three decades on death row, multiple appeals, a last minute stay, an emergency Supreme Court decision and now an unsuccessful execution attempt, Christa Pike is still alive.
What do YOU think happens next?
Should Tennessee be allowed to attempt another execution after what happened tonight?
Or has this crossed a line where Pike’s sentence should now be converted to life in prison?
