The CEO Fired a Pregnant Cleaner in Front of Everyone—Then the Chairman Called Her His Daughter
PART 1 — THE CHAIRMAN’S SECRET
“You’re fired! Get out before I call security!”
The CEO’s voice echoed across the marble lobby.
Emily, a seven-months-pregnant cleaner, stood frozen beside a spilled cup of coffee.
“I’m sorry, sir. I didn’t see the table.”
CEO Brandon Hayes pointed at her uniform.
“People like you are replaceable. Leave!”
Dozens of employees watched in silence.
Emily knelt to pick up the cleaning supplies, tears falling onto the floor.
“Please, I need this job. My baby is due in eight weeks.”
Brandon laughed coldly.
“Then you should have been more careful.”
Suddenly, the private elevator opened.
An elderly man in a navy suit stepped into the lobby.
It was Charles Whitman, the company’s chairman.
He looked at Emily.
Then at Brandon.
“Why is my daughter crying?”
The entire lobby went silent.
Brandon’s mouth fell open.
“Your… daughter?”
Charles walked toward Emily and helped her stand.
Then he turned back to the CEO.
“Brandon, come to my office. We need to discuss your future here.”
