The chemistry between Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) and Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) is absolute perfection. Watching their contrasting philosophies—the fluid grace of Kung Fu versus the disciplined strike of Karate—clash and then harmonize to mentor young Li Fong (Ben Wang) is pure storytelling gold.  The “odd couple” energy between the two masters provides both hilarious banter and deeply moving wisdom.

Ben Wang is a revelation! He brings a raw, modern energy to the underdog role, proving he can hold his own alongside these icons.  The action sequences are gritty and grounded, leaning into the practical stunt work that made the originals legendary. No flashy CGI—just blood, sweat, and perfect technique.

From the streets of New York to the echoes of the All Valley, this movie is packed with “Easter eggs” that will make every Cobra Kai and original fan cheer. It’s a beautiful tribute to the late Pat Morita and the enduring spirit of “Wax On, Wax Off.”
