Our daughter, Solomia, is just four years old. And for the third time in her short life, she is fighting neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer. Neuroblastoma is a rare cancer that primarily affects children under the age of five. In Solomia’s case, it began in her adrenal glands and spread quickly, requiring immediate and aggressive treatment. Our world turned upside down overnight.

She underwent rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. The treatments were harsh, exhausting, and painful — but Solomia faced them with a strength that amazed everyone around her. Despite the fear and uncertainty, we held onto hope. We believed that once this chapter ended, our daughter would finally get to live the childhood she deserved.

When Cancer Comes Back

Just as we began to breathe again, the unthinkable happened.

The cancer returned.

The second diagnosis shattered us, but we refused to give up. Solomia endured another round of chemotherapy, and once again, she fought with incredible courage. For a time, we believed she might finally be free from cancer.

Then came the third blow — the hardest one yet.

Neuroblastoma returned for the third time, more aggressive and more dangerous than before. This time, the doctors warned us that treatment options were becoming more limited. The urgency was undeniable. Immediate action was required if Solomia was going to have a chance to survive.
