I’ll admit, I was nervous about the CGI, but seeing the transformation for the first time gave me actual chills. The blend of urban street culture with ancient magical lore is handled so much better than I expected. Jake’s chemistry with Trixie and Spud feels like they stepped right out of the Disney Channel original, and the fight scenes? Pure adrenaline!
It’s nostalgic, it’s action-packed, and yes—Grandpa Lau and Fu Dog are just as iconic as you remember. If you grew up shouting “Dragon Up!”, you cannot miss this.
