Kanye West’s Young Wife ‘Considered Divorce Multiple Times’

Bianca Censori, the wife of rapper Kanye West, is reported to have repeatedly considered leaving the controversial artist due to unhappiness in their marriage.
According to People, the primary cause of the strain was Kanye West’s prolonged mental health struggles, which repeatedly pushed the relationship into periods of tension and instability.

“Kanye has been stuck in a cycle for years,” a source said. “When his mental health deteriorates, he creates a lot of drama that leaves long-lasting consequences. When he becomes more stable, he’s painfully aware of the damage he’s done to his family, friends, and himself.”
The source added that each time West regains mental clarity, he often sinks into deep remorse, guilt, and self-blame, making emotional balance difficult to maintain. “By the time he feels clear-headed again, the fallout is already too severe.”
The situation reportedly began to improve only after West sought intensive treatment at a rehabilitation facility in Switzerland to address his mental health issues.

Kanye West and Bianca Censori married in December 2022, just one month after the rapper finalized his divorce from Kim Kardashian. Rumors of marital trouble surfaced early last year, following a series of West’s controversial statements that were widely criticized as racist, misogynistic, and antisemitic. In his song Bianca, released in April, West admitted that his wife had once left him after panicking over his extreme posts on X.
Earlier this week, West publicly acknowledged his past mistakes. In an essay published in The Wall Street Journal, he issued an apology for his inflammatory remarks in recent years, explaining that they occurred during periods of severe bipolar disorder and depression.
He admitted that his emotional outbursts crossed serious boundaries. “When I look back at the chaos from that time, I realize that wasn’t who I truly am,” West wrote, adding that he now wants to stand “on the side of love and positivity.”
West also revealed that he sought treatment in Switzerland after his wife recognized that he was experiencing a “severe depressive episode” triggered by changes in his bipolar medication.
In a subsequent interview with Vanity Fair, West rejected claims that his apology letter was merely an attempt to rehabilitate his public image, insisting it was driven by genuine remorse and a long-standing emotional burden.
