Brooklyn removes tattoo honoring his father but continues to wear the £250,000 watch gifted by David Beckham

Amid signs that tensions within the family have yet to ease, Brooklyn Beckham was recently spotted wearing a luxury watch given to him by his father, David Beckham, while his younger siblings have made moves widely seen as attempts to mend family ties.

According to The Sun, Brooklyn was seen in Los Angeles wearing a Patek Philippe Nautilus valued at around £250,000 (approximately VND 7.5 billion). The timepiece was a 21st birthday gift from David Beckham in 2020.

In a 2021 interview, Brooklyn said: “It’s my favorite watch—I wear it every day. My dad bought it for me for my 21st birthday.”

In addition to the watch, he was also seen carrying two bottles of premium wine—Château Margaux 1982 and Château Latour 1989—both reportedly among David Beckham’s favorites, with a combined value of more than £2,000.

British media sources claim Brooklyn has recently covered or removed several tattoos that were originally meant to honor his parents. Even so, the expensive watch from his father remains a constant on his wrist whenever he is out in public, creating a striking contrast that has not gone unnoticed.

Siblings’ reactions amid the family rift
Meanwhile, other members of the Beckham family have drawn attention for their own actions amid the ongoing controversy. This week, Romeo Beckham sparked discussion after “liking” a social media video suggesting that Nicola Peltz, Brooklyn’s wife, was the “cause” of the family rift. The video also expressed support for David Beckham and Victoria Beckham. Fans quickly noticed the interaction, which then spread widely online.

At the same time, the youngest sibling, Harper Beckham, is said to have shared a photo with her three brothers on her personal Instagram account, accompanied by a heartfelt Valentine’s message: “I love you boys so much—words can’t describe it,” calling them “the best brothers.” The post was initially visible only to close friends, but Victoria later reshared it on her account, which has tens of millions of followers. British media note, however, that Brooklyn and Harper do not currently interact publicly on social media.

Earlier, Brooklyn was also absent from the 21st birthday party of his younger brother Cruz Beckham, held in Mayfair, despite the presence of their parents and Cruz’s girlfriend.

Brooklyn Beckham married Nicola Peltz in 2022 and is now pursuing a career in the culinary field. The Beckham family had long cultivated an image of close-knit unity, frequently appearing together at major events. As a result, these latest developments have kept the family’s internal tensions firmly in the spotlight of the British media.
