Timothée Chalamet Thanks His Girlfriend Kylie Jenner After Golden Globe Win

Actor Timothée Chalamet shared a heartfelt tribute to his girlfriend Kylie Jenner as he accepted the Golden Globe Awards for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy at the 2026 ceremony.

Wrapping up his acceptance speech, Chalamet thanked “my family and my love,” before adding, “I love you,” as he looked toward Jenner amid thunderous applause. Seated in the audience, Jenner turned to hug actress Odessa A’zion, Chalamet’s colleague, and exclaimed, “So happy!”

Earlier in the evening, Chalamet leaned in to kiss Jenner as his name was announced as the winner. Though the couple didn’t walk the red carpet together, they were visibly affectionate throughout the night.

During his speech, Chalamet also paid tribute to industry veterans Leonardo DiCaprio and George Clooney, who were among his competitors in the category. At 30, Chalamet claimed his first-ever Golden Globe after five nominations, thanks to his performance in Marty Supreme.

Other major winners of the night included Rose Byrne (Best Actress, Musical or Comedy), Jessie Buckley (Best Actress, Drama), Wagner Moura (Best Actor, Drama), Teyana Taylor (Best Supporting Actress), and Stellan Skarsgård (Best Supporting Actor).

In film categories, One Battle After Another, starring DiCaprio, won Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, while Hamnet took Best Motion Picture – Drama. The blockbuster Sinners earned the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement award. Animated hit KPop Demon Hunters won both Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song.

On the television side, top honors went to The Pitt (Best Drama Series), The Studio (Best Comedy Series), and Adolescence (Best Limited Series). Sixteen-year-old Owen Cooper made history as the youngest Golden Globe winner for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Adolescence, while co-stars Stephen Graham and Erin Doherty also took home acting awards in the limited-series categories.
