Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called on Western allies to step up military assistance, warning that intensified fighting on the front lines requires urgent and sustained support.

In a recent address, the Ukrainian president stressed that additional air defense systems, long-range weapons, and ammunition are critical to strengthening Ukraine’s defensive capabilities. He emphasized that timely deliveries would not only help protect Ukrainian cities from ongoing attacks but also stabilize the broader security situation in Europe.

Zelenskyy argued that continued military aid demonstrates unity among democratic nations and sends a clear signal about their commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He also urged partners to accelerate existing aid packages and consider new measures to bolster defense production capacity.

Western governments have provided significant financial and military assistance since the conflict escalated, including advanced air defense systems, armored vehicles, and artillery. However, Ukrainian officials say the intensity of current battlefield operations has sharply increased demand for supplies.
