THE NUN 3

THE NUN 3 — FIRST OFFICIAL TRAILER (2026)
Starring: Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Taissa Farmiga

The nightmare that began in the shadows of the Church returns in THE NUN 3—the next terrifying chapter in the universe that includes The Conjuring and The Nun.

Years after defeating the demonic entity known as Valak, paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren believed the evil had finally been sealed away. But darkness tied to ancient evil rarely disappears—it simply waits.

When a remote monastery high in the Swiss Alps reports horrifying supernatural events, the Vatican quietly reaches out to the only people who have faced this demon before. Strange deaths, possessed clergy, and sightings of a pale nun wandering the frozen halls all point to one chilling possibility: Valak has returned.

For Lorraine Warren, the terror becomes deeply personal. She begins seeing the demonic nun in mirrors, reflections, and even in her dreams—always watching, always closer. The visions reveal a terrifying truth: the demon isn’t just haunting a place anymore.

It’s hunting a bloodline.

To stop the evil, the Warrens reunite with Sister Irene, now older and stronger in faith after surviving her previous encounter with Valak. Together they uncover an ancient secret buried beneath the monastery—a forbidden relic known as the “Blackened Heart of the Church,” said to be capable of opening a gateway for demonic forces to enter the world permanently.

As they descend into forgotten catacombs beneath the monastery, they discover that the demon has been preparing for centuries. Possessed monks guard ancient chambers, shadows move on their own, and the line between faith and madness begins to blur.

The battle becomes more than an exorcism—it becomes a desperate race to stop an ancient ritual that could unleash hell itself upon the world.

Review:

Terrifying, atmospheric, and drenched in gothic horror. THE NUN 3 brings the franchise back to its darkest roots with haunting monastery settings, chilling demonic imagery, and relentless supernatural tension.

Seeing Vera Farmiga and Taissa Farmiga share the screen adds emotional depth to the horror, while the return of the Warrens connects the film tightly to the larger Conjuring universe.

And when Valak appears… the theater will go silent.

Expect brutal jump scares, eerie religious symbolism, and a final exorcism scene that might become one of the most intense moments in the entire franchise.
