US Air Force F35’s creating their own weather system whilst flying at low level in the Lake District. This pair of F35’s were from the 495th Fighter Squadron based at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk.

This incredible pair of F-35 Lightning II aircraft, flown by pilots from the 495th Fighter Squadron, demonstrate the raw power and aerodynamic intensity of modern air combat. As they slice through dense, moisture-rich air at high speed, sudden pressure changes form dramatic vapor clouds—giving the illusion that the jets are shaping the weather around them.

Operating out of RAF Lakenheath, these jets represent the cutting edge of aerial warfare. Low-level flying through mountainous terrain demands absolute precision, elite training, and total اعتماد between pilot and machine. Every second in the air is a balance of speed, control, and calculated risk—where even the sky seems to react to their presence.
