4-YEAR-OLD HARPER FIGHTS RARE OVARIAN CANCER THAT RETURNED AFTER CHEMO

Little Harper’s journey began with what seemed like a minor issue but quickly turned into a diagnosis no parent is ever prepared for when doctors discovered an extremely rare ovarian cancer that had already spread to her lymph nodes, making her case one of the youngest on record. She has since endured major surgery to remove her ovary and affected lymph nodes, seven rounds of chemotherapy, and two additional abdominal operations, all while her care team at Memorial Sloan Kettering worked tirelessly to give her the best chance possible. For a short time there was hope that the cancer had been defeated, but new scans in September 2025 revealed lesions on her liver, and a February biopsy confirmed the heartbreaking return of the disease now affecting her liver, pelvis, and abdominal wall.

Harper’s family has remained strong through every setback, holding onto faith as doctors explore new treatment options including possible immunotherapy trials at St. Jude’s. The young girl has shown remarkable resilience throughout her difficult journey, facing each procedure and round of treatment with a courage that continues to inspire everyone around her. The road ahead remains challenging, but her parents and medical team are committed to fighting alongside her every step of the way.

As Harper continues her battle, the family is asking for continued prayers and support from the community to help give their daughter the strength she needs. Her story highlights the harsh reality of childhood cancer while also showing the power of hope and medical innovation in the face of rare and aggressive diseases. Supporters are encouraged to keep sending love and positive energy to this brave little fighter and her family during this critical time.
