There the family received the diagnosis that neither parent had heard of before, instantly filling them with fear and countless questions about their unborn son’s future. Georgia became Ralphie’s steadfast anchor from that day forward, managing worry with quiet strength while ensuring the home remained a place of comfort for both Ralphie and his big sister Nelly-May.

Ralphie was born in December 2025 weighing 7.6 pounds and spent five days in the neonatal unit at Liverpool Women’s University Hospital, where monitors, medical terminology, and constant vigilance became part of daily life.
